It has been said that

That statement may be as accurate
as it is profound.
I agree with the statement but would add one word:
DeleteGiuseppe Arcimboldo was the first Surrealist painter .
The 16th Century Italian needed only two dimensions
to create his art.
His 21st Century protege did a commendable job
with three dimensions and a set of carving knives.
Arkie McBlue gets extra credit
for streamlining the image.
Perhaps M. Arcimbaldo was hungry one day and in the market, a peasant farmer had applied a fig nose to a cabbage thus planting a seed.
