For Judith In Electric KeezleLand

______________________________________________________________________________________

 Fifty-two years ago today

 When I was young
 and wasn't made of clay

 Halloween was
 a fortnight away

I received a letter that day:

 My boy Jimi
 is coming your way
 Would you please teach him
 how to play

 Sincerely,
 Al Hendrix

 The next two weeks
 was all treats and tricks
 *******************

The boy arrived
 with a guitar sack–
 his lifeblood–on his back

 His fingers on the fret
 the blues he did get

 Muddy Waters for breakfast
 Lightnin' Hopkins for lunch
 Howlin' Wolf for dinner
Jimi ate up the whole bunch
 ***********************

You may now listen to
Spanish Castle Magic
 I said "Young man,
 in your defense:
 Are you experienced?"

 Yes he was, and said
"Good Sir, all my gratitude
  but for fame to attain
I must go to Great Britain"

"Jimi, here's the ultimate trick
  never forget Spanish Castle Magic"

"I will never forget you,
the man to be re-shaped from brick
  I mean exactly You:
  Mr. Flann O'Magic."
