Zeller: The Greatest Prediction Of The 20th Century

______________________________________________________________________________________

Magnus Zeller
The Orator
(1920)
But I call it
The Magnus Opus

After a resounding defeat in World War I,
which ended in 1918, Germany
was a devastated republic.

Imagine an entire country
looking like South-Central Los Angeles
with small pockets of art colonies
and  historical monuments.

But even in the poorest,
most deprived places,
there are always some
people with money.

Ghettos have Cadillac pimps with lots of fur
and bling-bling. Germany had its own
moneyed people.

But they were called aristocrats.

Amidst this war-torn decimation,
one of the proudest nations on the face of the planet
was desperate for someone to led them back to prosperity and self-respect.

Someone who could rally the populace behind a good cause.

Someone with the oratorical skills of a Godhead, a Fuhrer!

In 1920, The only thing Magnus Zeller got wrong
in predicting the rise of Adolph Hitler is that
he made him look like a ballet dancer!
