Outside the Aquarium of the Pacific...

Last month, there was a man
seated at a bus stop adjacent
to the Long Beach Aquarium.
When I took this picture,
he looked at me
and said
Aqui, cada día
es el Domingo
de Palmas.

Are They Skydusters?
ReplyDeleteHeaven can't be climbed
And the fish can't swim
To the sea.
But the trees reach
High as can be
Given their present size and age (≈30 yrs)
Deletethese palm trees qualify as
Junior Skydusters.
One hopes the fruit
ReplyDeleteOf the skyduster
Or whatever these
Palms may be
Satisfy hungry mouths
The fruit of the skyduster
ReplyDeleteIs neither sky nor dust
Eat it? Almost none must
But in palm trees
We trust
Collect and make jam
ReplyDeletePalms symbolize peace,
ReplyDeletewelcome to the hero and eternal life.
May it never cease.
May it never cease
ReplyDeleteMay it light the way
May it always be
24/7 Palm Sunday!
Amen.
ReplyDelete(But with a kinder crowd)
I kinda' agree but repeat after me
ReplyDeleteHail Mary, full of GRACE...
