People Who... (#1) ©

Say only what other people want to hear
make everybody's best friend list.

BUT

People who say only what other people need to hear
never get invited to anybody's parties.

HOWEVER

The need-sayer is more likely to be never forgotten.
Sometimes, the memory is tinged with gratitude.

    Is it all HOW you say it? Need-sayers can be helpful or insufferable.
    Remember it is another OPINION.

      Need-sayers get in trouble as much
      for what they say as HOW they say it.

      (It makes me think of Marshall McLuhan's
      distinction between the "medium"
      and the "message."
      But that is just another opinion.)
