This is the Guggenheim Aquarium on Fifth Avenue.

All of the famous fish artworks from the sea of galleries.
Some composed of dots, some untrue, some worthy of railleries.
I thought it was the Guggy.

He mobilized my sense of aesthetics monumentally.
The year was 19seventy-something
There would be no Guggy were it not for
